This session focuses on the value corporate sustainability offers corporations. By looking at 'real world' environment and business issues the session will shine a spotlight on meeting corporate and community social innovation. The 'Triple Bottom Line' feature of the session will provide concrete examples of how social, economic and environmental interests are reconciled: with a 'sum is greater than the parts' thinking. |

Corporate Sustainability and the Environment: Kevin Brady, Five Winds The presentation will explore current trends and approaches for improving environmental aspects of industrial performance, including carbon management, life cycle assessment, reporting and labelling. Product level strategies to improve environmental performance will also be presented using examples from leading companies. |
| Economic Development and Innovation: Claude Haw, OCRI Economic development in a region is primarily driven by local companies, infrastructure investment, services industries and government. Growth in the economy is generally driven by the services provided to external people (e.g. tourism etc.) and the expansion of companies. |
The Power and Grace of Integrating Social into our Bottom Line!: Jennifer Hunter, the Learning Catalyst Focus will be on value and benefit of social as an integral element of a healthy triple bottom line - including at least one story of great work in this area! |
