| Digital Opportunity Trust (DOT): Janet Longmore, Digital Opportunity Trust Janet will introduce DOT and its various partnerships as it presently carries out its global activities in 10 countries in the world. She will show how DOT’s partnerships with companies such as Cisco and IBM are excellent examples of CSR relationships. |
| Investing in entrepreneurship and school-to-work transition: David Stewart-Patterson, Canadian Youth Business Foundation David Stewart-Patterson will discuss his experiences with two business-led initiatives aimed at helping young Canadians move successfully into the workforce. One is the Canadian Youth Business Foundation (CYBF), which provides financing, mentoring and other support to enable young entrepreneurs to launch and build successful businesses. The other is Career Edge, an internship program that spawned creative new links between business, government and the non-profit sector. |
